I have three guiding principles that I impart to everyone I work with, from stakeholders to direct reports.

  • Every project, no matter how large or small, creative or mundane, is an opportunity to learn something new.

  • Be creative, with purpose – define the guardrails, plot out where to anchor and where to break rules. Have every decision be backed by research.

  • Define the goals early, clearly, and repeat them often. Set expectations against measurable data, and learn from wins and the losses.
