Around Austin
Austin has a distinct creative sensibility—shaped by independent people building meaningful things in their own way. These projects sit within that ecosystem, each one reflecting and contributing to the culture of the city.
My role has been to help give that sensibility form—translating it into visual systems, identities, and experiences that feel grounded in Austin while evolving over time.

Misprint Magazine
From 2005–2012, Misprint was an independent publication covering Austin’s music scene and subculture. Over 21 issues, it became a recognizable part of the city—something people picked up, kept, and showed up for in real life. As a co-founder, I led the vision end-to-end, shaping the editorial voice, designing every issue, and growing it into a platform that extended beyond print through events and community.

Austin Film Festival
I led two years of branding for the Austin Film Festival, shaping how the festival shows up across print, digital, and on-site experiences. Rooted in AFF’s mission to champion storytelling, the work brought a cohesive identity across mediums.
KUTX 98.9
KUTX launched as the new 24-hour music sister station to the University of Texas’s NPR affiliate, KUT — a distinct identity focused entirely on music and local culture. I was selected to create the station’s first launch campaign, helping establish an immediately recognizable visual presence for a brand being introduced to Austin audiences for the first time.
I Live Here I Give Here
I Live Here I Give Here envisions a Central Texas where every community member is engaged in giving. This is accomplished through initiatives throughout the year, anchored by their signature program Amplify Austin. I oversaw a comprehensive rebrand + identity alignment to give them the best tools to accomplish their mission.
