Metarama was to be the first music, gaming, and streamer focused festival – a giant circus of play. The brand was built from the start to be 360º digitally rendered, starting with the logo.
As creative director, I envisioned the Metarama brand as a series of animated “landscapes”, combining elements of music, gaming, tournaments, and other experience pillars at the festival. As a whole, these landscapes gave a glimpse into a huge new world.
Just like a game, elements were rendered individually as well, to serve as “experience icons”, like the Vintage Arcade, Drone Racing Zone, AR/VR activities, and more.

The individual items could be mixed and matched to give greater visual and informational context to the Metarama experience.
Tying the brand together was a distinct color palette that gave the brand consistency, no matter the application.
Sadly, like many start-up festivals, Metarama never made it into full production.
