2013-2020

Creative Director, Live Nation’s Music Festival Division

For eight years I worked in the music industry, as part of Live Nation’s main music festival division (Austin-based C3 Presents.) I worked as a senior art director, a senior brand strategist, and ultimately as the Creative Director, overseeing their portfolio of global festival brands including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Fest, Bonnaroo, and more, as well as working with clients including Red Bull, the NFL, the Obama & Biden Administrations, and Samsung.

2005-Present

Independent Brand Vision

I have developed a roster of widely-loved brands and have provided bespoke creative work for clients including Warby Parker, Birds Barbershop, Leafly, Verb Products, KUTX (NPR), Austin Film Festival, Circuit of the Americas, and various local dive bars.

Contributing Writer, Entrepreneur Magazine

Covering SXSW, Austin’s yearly international conference dedicated to music, film, and technology, I was a special contributor to Entrepreneur. I wrote countless articles covering business trends, entrepreneurship, culture, music, quickly turning around content daily.

Co-Publisher/Creator, Misprint Magazine

2005-2013

Across 21 printed issues, Misprint Magazine was a leading voice of Austin’s music scene & subculture. As a co-founder, I helped lead the overall vision, from content to branding to art direction. I wrote countless articles, designed every issue from cover to cover, and conceived and produced events throughout the years. 

2003-2012

Designer/Art Director at Agencies

For the first decade of my career I worked in graphic design and advertising agencies, as a designer, art director, and copywriter. I conceived, pitched, and produced multimedia campaigns across print, digital, out of home and more. My clients included a wide range of industries, including Sports, Entertainment, Healthcare, Finance, Tourism, Technology, Non-Profit, Retail, and Food & Beverage.
