Warby Parker
Warby Parker selected me to create the interior mural for its retail location at Legacy West in Plano, Texas — translating one of the most recognizable brands in modern retail into a distinctly local experience.
With an already well-established visual identity and personality, the opportunity wasn’t to reinvent the brand, but to thoughtfully interpret it for a new market. My approach focused on grounding Warby Parker’s signature sense of curiosity, intelligence, and visual restraint in the culture and history of Plano — creating something that felt authentically tied to place while remaining unmistakably Warby Parker.
The Art
Inspired by vintage field guides, native flora and fauna, and the history of Plano, the mural translated Warby Parker’s recognizable visual language into something distinctly local — retaining the brand’s core identity while layering in handmade textures and a deeper sense of exploration and place.

To celebrate their birthday, Warby Parker published this part encyclopedia – part retrospective, “The Alphabet of Art at Warby Parker“. Featuring selected store art from across the country, including my own contribution to Legacy West.
The Alphabet of Art
In 2013, Warby Parker partnered with the Creative Action Network to commission new cover designs for over 50 public domain classics — bringing fresh visual identity to books that had long outlived their packaging. My cover for Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth was selected for the series, printed as a paperback, and featured in Warby Parker retail stores nationwide.
